In celebration of World Environment Day (June 5)
and the 2024 Environmental Action Month, Jia Hsin Co., Ltd. recently launched
the "Waste Exchange for Gifts" program. Participants in this
initiative received a variety of items, including Oshi cakes, instant noodles,
fresh milk, soft drinks, seasoning, sugar, cooking oil, dish soap, and more.
The program received enthusiastic support from
local residents and communities, who brought their waste for exchange. A
substantial amount of batteries, plastic bags, and used pesticide packaging was
collected in return for attractive gifts provided by the organizers.
This initiative not only promotes environmental
awareness but also encourages community participation in waste management
efforts.
